Mentor A BECA Volunteer

Are you a current or former educator? Do you have experience with any of the following:

  • Bilingual or Dual-language classrooms
  • Special Education/Needs
  • Curriculum Development

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we encourage you to consider offering support to one or more of our volunteers. Due to the nature of our program, our volunteers take on tremendous responsibility for meeting the needs of their students. Being able to call upon someone who can help to problem solve, research content, plan lessons and respond to the needs of specific students is so important.

Whether you can correspond with a volunteer by e-mail or might also be able to visit the program at some point during the year, we encourage you to consider playing this important role.
