2006 Holiday Fundraising Campaign
This fall, as 2005-2006 team members settled into new places and new jobs, they sought a way to remain connected and committed to BECA. Recognizing the great potential of the growing BECA network, these team members have come up with a new, holiday-focused fundraising concept.
Board members, former and current volunteers, and other friends of BECA are in the process of sending fundraising letters, either electronically or by mail, to their families and friends, effectively adding hundreds of people to the BECA family in a very short period of time. These letters ask for scholarship donations and/or "BECA gifts"-- donations made in honor of other people. The individuals honored by those donations will receive cards in the mail to notify them of the gifts.
