Vino Y Chocolate Sponsorship Opportunities

Bilingual Education for Central America (BECA) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes cultural exchange for volunteer teachers from the U.S. and affordable bilingual education for Honduran children. In BECA's volunteer-driven school model Honduran students learn from dedicated U.S. volunteer teachers, and those volunteers learn from the community in which they are immersed.

Vino y Chocolate is BECA's annual gala fundraising event targeted to New York professionals who have both philanthropic inclinations and a taste for the good life - in the form of fantastic chocolate and fine wine. This year's event on Thurs. Feb. 11 will include a guided chocolate tasting by MarieBelle New York, wine provided by Wine & Sprits Magazine, food from Murray's Cheese Shop, and a number of silent auction items. The venue, in artist Jacques Lieberman's gallery in SoHo, is filled with art and we will be augmenting the existing display by exhibiting photography from Honduras that will be available in the silent auction. This year's gala event will be hosted by 15 New York professionals who work in finance, real estate, consulting, the arts, and non-profits.
