Thanks for following along the day with me! First grade can be quite the adventure as you saw, but it is also very fun. We start the day bright and early at 5:30 and leave the house at 6. We have an hour to get ready for the students to come and start our school day together. The day is filled with laughter, controlled chaos, learning, and snacks. When the students leave at 2, that doesn’t mean the day is over. We have prep for the next day to do and clean up from the current day. When we leave, around 3:30, we all do different things. Some play soccer, some chill and nap, some work out, and some visit people in the community. I love to end my day at my student’s house; it’s nice to get that family feeling and eat some really good food! By the time I get home at the end of the day, it’s so nice to just relax and get prepared for another day. Hope you enjoyed watching what a typical day in Cofradia, Honduras!
