BECA and our Honduran community partners collaborate every day to operate two bilingual schools serving more than 500 children and their families. This intercultural labor of love is only possible because of the generosity and commitment of the many people who volunteer as teachers, summer camp counselors, trainers, teacher mentors, fundraising event organizers, volunteer homestay hosts, and so much more.
Together we are pouring human resources into our two partner school communities so that a high-quality education need not cost families money they don’t have. We are succeeding because we are working alongside each other every day. By volunteering with BECA, you are joining a global community that spans almost twenty years of commitment to ensuring that our students are socially-minded, critical thinkers with fluency in two languages – a boost that ensures they can succeed professionally and personally.
